Abstract In this article, analytical solutions of couple stress fluid flow modeled with a power law fractional differential operator are discussed. Stokes’ second problem for an incompressible is studied horizontal plate infinite length. The governing equations the expressed in terms partial and then converted into non-dimensional model by using dimensional analysis. Then integer order was formulated non-integer three types derivatives solved help Laplace transform method. obtained complex series. to check memory index different operators, we have plotted some graphs. It found that constant proportional provides us better choice about maximum enhancement achieved comparison Caputo Caputo–Fabrizio. Furthermore, accuracy present results, compared existing literature good agreement between them.
